I suggest to add these two lines at the end of
pdfbox\pdmodel\PDPage.convertToImage()
drawer.dispose();
graphics.dispose();
This would speed up cleanup after rendering. (Alternatively, delete the
PageDrawer.dispose() function, because it is never used)
