The source pdf is no longer available in svn. However this looks similar to the
image in PDFBOX-1435, which initially also had "series of boxes" instead of
chinese and now no longer, probably thanks to the efforts in PDFBOX-490. I was
able to find the "genko_oc_shiryo1.pdf" file here:
http://people.apache.org/~jukka/pdfbox-legacy-tests.jar
the chinese looks fine (I'm not attaching it), so this jira might be closed.
