[~vbokov] thank you, this works with no regressions except for the CalRGB file
from https://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=686749 which I didn't have in
my test set but found while reading the other issue. I'll ignore that for now
because that isn't a realistic file. I'll first adjust my test set and then
commit your patch.
