[~tilman] It was correct to remove the MemoryUsageSetting parameter, but it had
to be replaced by a parameter for an optional stream-cache function. I can't
remember the details of these changes but I guess it was some state of
transition, the new stuff wasn't complete but the old one should be
removed/replaced, and I simply forget to apply the stream function to the
sources as well.
