Thats what I meant - each thread must create its own pddocument. (See faq at
http://pdfbox.apache.org/userguide/faq.html#threadsafe )
I learned this myself the hard way when I tried to speed up TestImageIOUtils
(PDFBOX-1850) and loaded the document only once before starting the threads.
