Tilman Hausherr commented on PDFBOX-2128:
-----------------------------------------

I tried with Apache Imaging and rendering worked with all my test files, but
not with yours. There is one 700kb inline image (the signature of Sophie G.)
that can't be read by Apache Imaging, see my report at IMAGING-136. Btw, such
huge inline images are against the PDF spec: "Because the inline format gives
the application less flexibility in managing the image data, it should be used
only for small images (4 KB or less)."

> I have a PDF with CMYK images inside and i need to extract the images in the
> RGB format. But the PDJpeg class seems to not work correctly; the colors are
> bad. Example:
> - Original image in te PDF : http://ludoda.free.fr/IMAGE_IN_PDF.jpg
> - Extracted image: http://ludoda.free.fr/IMAGE_EXTRACTED.jpg
> You can download the PDF : http://ludoda.free.fr/PORSCHE_CMYK.PDF
> and try my simple Test Case (I'm using PDFbox 1.8.5):
