Don't know, we're just small amount of people, and sometimes, no one makes a
decision for or against. Me, I mostly focus on rendering. And while PDFBox does
have PDF generation, these are low level commands. I thought people use Apache
FOP for higher level stuff.
However I wonder: why would people "move from itext to pdfbox"? They paid for
itext.
