But then we have to update all our existing 1.8 documentation to fit into the
new website, this is really wasted effort. Just archive the existing site and
link to it. We've already decided to push users strongly away from 1.8 after
2.0 is released, presenting 1.8's documentation alongside 2.0 in the same menu
is not in keeping with this approach.
