The simplest of the remaining files is PDFBOX-1577.pdf. I had a look at the
intermediate image files. The paint passed in showTransparencyGroup() is based
on a BufferedImage that is much larger than rectangle that is being filled,
which makes me suspect that the part that is actually being used for the paint
is the empty part of the image.
