[~lehmi] any opinion about the 2nd part of the patch? I already committed the
1st part in PDFBOX-2576, that patch part is based on a remark I made in
PDFBOX-2796. I would commit the 2nd part too, although I'd change the debug log
into a warning log but I'd like your opinion first.
