[~dnt] The best would be to use a salami tactic: find something that is missing
but in the spec. Provide a small patch that uses the existing structures. Don't
spend too much time on it, so that your "risk" of having wasted your time is
minimal. Then provide a patch against the trunk. If possible, bring a test that
fails with the current code.
