AFAIU the spec the font as fallback isn't necessary. The W values or optional
and the default is none. If an individual glyph width is missing DW shall be
used. The DW value is optional as well, the default DW is 1000. That's exactly
what the former implementation did. Saying that, I can't see any potential
issues here.
