Lets get this jekyll migration finished before we start changing things. We use
the same website format as Hadoop, Commons, FOP, etc. It works.

I really don't see mobile usage as a goal - who's trying to read the PDFBox
docs on their phone? Unlikely to be anyone. iPad already works fine so no
problems there. Could maybe adjust the
[viewport|http://webdesign.tutsplus.com/articles/quick-tip-dont-forget-the-viewport-meta-tag--webdesign-5972]
for a better initial phone experience though. Just so that we show the entire
page?

> As discussed on the dev mailing list the PDFBox website will be migrated to a
> local build:
> - to have an easier support for a new/blog section
> - an actively developed toolchain to build the site
> The site builder will be based on jekyll with some additional scripting/maven
> to automate the develop/build/test/publishing steps.
> There are some projects we can learn from such as Apache Wicket, JClouds.
> The initial development will be done in a branch to the current svn
> repository.
