Antoine Ribes commented on PDFBOX-3136:
---------------------------------------
I use a trial of acrobat, hoping it could be used as a distinct reference for
PDF/A validation. I still posted a request with the question...
I also generated another simple PDF/A-1a file with LibreOffice 5.0.3 and it is
correct (validates with acrobat, www.pdf-tools.com and pdfbox preflight).
Since the 5.0.3 version of LO gives a warning message, like "transparency is
forbidden in PDF/A-1a specifications. So it is removed", that I did not have
when generating the file with the 4.2 version, I'd say that was the problem and
conclude you're definitely correct.
Thanks a lot.
> False negative on PDF/A-1A with wrongly given causes " Invalid graphics
> object, DestOutputProfile isn't a valid ICCProfile: Invalid ICC Profile Data"
> and "Invalid Color space, The operator "rg" can't be used with CMYK Profile"
