A few days ago I accidentally ran TestPDFToImage.java on PDFBox 1.8 on
JDK 1.8. Surprisingly there's an improvement. Many files that had no
rendered glyphs, e.g.
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12662439/bugzilla886049.pdf
now do have the glyphs. So Oracle has fixed some bugs in awt.
