Thanks for your input. I've now created my first small item in JIRA https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PDFBOX-3418 I cannot upload patches to JIRA. So how should I proceed from here? Can I add the patches as comments? Or should I post them to this mailing list? Regards, Michael
