The constructor in {{PDAppearanceString}} requires a default resource which is
taken from the AcroForm in {{PDVariableText}} or throws an
{{IllegalArgumentException}}. As the {{/DR}} entry is optional such
requirements shall be relaxed. This will also affect the methods available in
PDAppearanceString as getFont/setFont won't make sense here as the actual font
should be resolved by the COSName specified much later i.e. taken from the
widgets resources entry or in case there is none from the AcroForm DR entry.
