I don't mind, but I wouldn't see that as a priority, as your time is limited...
IMHO the most important is that a newbie can find out
- what to download for his/her purpose
- how to get started
- how to get support / FAQ
I know from myself that using new open source software is often confusing when
there's no clear path to take.
Which brings me to more ideas:
- merge "getting started" and "dependencies"?
- The "Getting Help" homepage text should also link to "FAQ" and "Support"
- Add at the end of "Before you submit a bug there are several things you can
try first" add this: read the FAQ https://pdfbox.apache.org/2.0/faq.html .
Because the FAQ is getting really great.
- add this to the FAQ in the rendering segment:
Q: I'm getting very poor performance with some pages
A: If you're using JDK8 or higher, make sure you have set
{{-Dsun.java2d.cmm=sun.java2d.cmm.kcms.KcmsServiceProvider}} or called
{{System.setProperty("sun.java2d.cmm",
