works fine on my local copy. Even after pulling the latest changes. I'm at
jekyll 3.1.2. I'll do a minor change and push to see if that corrects the issue.

Thanks for the fix. I've to investigate on my side to see what went wrong.
I've updated to jekyll 3.2.1 and now the backticks for the code formatter are
working
