Tilman Hausherr commented on PDFBOX-4001:
-----------------------------------------
Don't think so, "\n" is allowed in strings and means code 10. But the code
doesn't exist for that font. The problem now is to decide whether an illegal
code is to be rendered with that reserved symbol or not at all. For the file
from PDFBOX-2334 the symbol is rendered by Adobe Reader. There are some slight
differences between the font dictionaries. I wonder which one is responsible.
Consider submitting a bug report to ReportMill telling them not to include
illegal char codes in their PDF.
