Your photo shows the rendering of that file with Adobe Reader. Yes that is how
it *should* look. "Reduced" means that I removed almost everything from the
original PDF to focus on the part of what is not being rendered correctly,
here: a single type 2 (axial) shading in a transparency group. The lines (that
are always rendered correctly) were added by me to the top content stream to
make it easier to see the rendering errors in PDFBox.
