I'll open a new issue when I have more information, just testing stuff while I
couldn't sleep…
180551.pdf - spaces missing
082220.pdf - that one is not rotated; without the new option, extraction looks
OK, with the new option, spaces are missing.
I suspect it is somehow related to type 3 fonts being used.
