I dont know if i understand, you mean it would overwrite the new signature 
field name?

 

_OFF-topic: I also have implemented a workaround to parser only objects of the 
pdf that are needed by an signature operation (generate/verify). That was 
implemented because of high memory consumation, the objective was to reduces 
the memory of a pdf file parsed. Do you think that is valid to open an issue 
with this workaround?_
