Printing a 1"x1" PDF to a GK420d Zebra label printer from Adobe results in a
scannable barcode, but printing the same PDF from PDFBox to the same printer
results in a barcode that is not scannable, and text that is choppy.
Tests were performed on Windows 10. Turning dithering from 'smooth' to 'off' in
the driver helps, but our efforts to achieve this via PDFBox have been
unsuccessful.
