I uploaded TestPdfboxFop2.java and TestPdfboxFop2.pdf, an example how the
positioning feature of Apache Fop could be used. To instantiate the fop classes
an input stream of the font file is needed.
I will make a suggestion how this functionality could be integrated to Pdfbox
shortly.
