Tal Lowenthal commented on PDFBOX-5206:
---------------------------------------
I think there are? I found this site
([https://sites.psu.edu/symbolcodes/languages/mideast/hebrew/hebrewchart/])
which seems to imply that there are unicode characters for them, and I know the
font supports them (I looked for one specifically). Are you saying that I have
to retype the text for it to work?
The image I added of it being properly placed I took as a screenshot from the
IDE that I was using. Do you know what I would change to make it work properly?
> Does pdfBox support RTL languages yet?

> I want to make a pdf of hebrew with nekkudot (non-letter vowel signs), but it
> prints it backwards. I tried the fix that I found online of flipping the
> string, but the nekkudot are shifted to the left.
> This could all be fixed easily if pdfBox supports RTL languages.
