First thank you for working on this. You can't commit code, this is done
by one of the committers. Please attach your patch against the trunk in
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PDFBOX-4189 . Try to follow the
code conventions ( https://pdfbox.apache.org/codingconventions.html )
and don't make formatting changes in existing code, even if this code
doesn't follow the conventions.
Make your patch as small as possible so that it is easy to understand,
i.e. if you add several features, then start with the smallest one.

a. I have added support for zero-width-joiner, zero-width-non-joiner.
b. improved matching for the glyph substitution.
