Christopher Smith updated PDFBOX-5608:
--------------------------------------
Description:
I am trying out PDFBox 3.0, and I note the new {{io}} module. A significant
amount of modern tooling (in my case, Spring Boot) copies the dependency jars
for an application into a single directory to build a runtime. This means that
the simple {{artifactId}} s of all libraries are in a single collision space,
and {{io}} is unfortunately common (Central lists 43 separate artifacts named
{{io}}).
I request renaming the module from {{io}} to {{pdfbox-io}} to eliminate
collisions.
