First of all you should update to a newer version of PDFBox, the most recent
one is 2.0.32. 2.0.22 was released 5 years ago.
This is a JDK/JRE issue and I'm afraid we can't do much about it, esspecially
without any more context. I assume you are trying to render a pdf, aren't you?
Can you provide a sample pdf triggering the described issue?
