It was fixed in PDF.js by Jonas Jenwald based on a remark by user "SehoAhn"
(who came from nowhere), this resulted in the closure of 7 of their tickets. We
have about 20 rendering differences, mostly minor. For example, the file from
their ticket 19240 looked ok in PDFBox, and after the change the difference is
minimal.
