2.0.35 release

Hi,

another 2.0.x release is long overdue.
I'm planing to cut 2.0.35 in about one week from now, on Monday or Tuesday.

Any objections?

@Tilman Do you have some cycles to run the tests?

P.S.: right after the 2.0.35 release I'm going to address another 3.0.x 
release
