This can be tested with PDFDebugger (I added a border option), or with this
command on windows:
java -jar pdfbox-app-4.0.0.jar print -silentPrint -border -dpi 300 -printerName
"Microsoft Print to PDF" -i Paulmann-70919_V01-MaxLED-Universal-Verbinder.pdf
I haven't had a deep look into this. Maybe it is related to the other topics
you mentioned.
