I was excited to hear that a Community Over Code (formerly Apachecon) will be hosted in Halifax this October. Now that a Pekko release is imminent I think it would be a great opportunity to (re-)introduce Akka/Pekko to a broader community with a new user oriented overview of the Pekko toolkit. I was thinking about submitting a talk on a new Pekko-based library the company I work for may open source, but I think a big part of it would be a treatment of Pekko and so I think a more generalized talk about the project would attract a larger audience.
Is anyone planning on submitting to the CFP? Is anyone interested in collaborating? https://communityovercode.org/call-for-presentations/ (July 13 deadline) Sean -- @seg1o <https://twitter.com/seg1o>, seanglover.com
