@PJ Fanning <fannin...@apache.org> just cut a 1.1.x branch, so the main is now 1.2.x.
Can we start removing the deprecated methods in 1.2.x? what about Java 8 and Scala 2.12.x? Removing Java 8 will enable us to make use of VarHandle. Removing Scala 2.12 support will reduce the burden, especially the recent lint changes in Scala 2.13.x. what do you think? 何品
