Hi everyone, I think it would be useful to do a 1.2.0-M1 release. One of the main drivers is to support Netty ByteBuf pooling configuration [1] for Apache Flink. The changes are listed in the milestone [2]. I've moved a few issues and PRs to a 1.2.0-M2 milestone [3]. Some of these changes are close to being ready but the issue might be more about getting them reviewed. I think we can do a few more milestones before a full release.
What do people think? I can act as release manager but if anyone else wants to take on the role, please let us know.
