If I understand correctly, MP_INST_APACHE2=1 and "PerlModule Apache2" is a workaround for co-existency of mod_perl 1.x and 2.x modules in the same perl library path. (is it right?)
but it seems that pod2man-ed manuals are overwritten. We rarely do man Perl::Module, so it's not a real problem though ...
