Thats odd your's is never, but I litterally did the rsync around 1am EST.
I've been getting that errror for a while now now (1-2months) but just
got around to mentioning it.
Philip, make sure that you rsync against the right source. I use:
rsync -acvz --delete --force
rsync://ftp.linux.activestate.com/perl-current/ ./perl-blead
