mod_perl 1.21 RC2 Test Failure

So the server never starts. :-( I've attached the httpd.conf file.

Mac OS X 10.5.1 Leopard
Perl 5.10.0
Apache 1.3.39

So for the first time in years, I'm trying to run the test suite in mod_perl 1.31. The trouble is, the httpd.conf file that's getting written has =pod lines in it. WTF? Syntax error on line 3 of /usr/local/src/mod_perl-1.31-rc2/t/conf/ httpd.conf: Invalid command '=pod', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
