Just noticed that the download page still points to 2.0.7 as the latest version. However, mod_perl-2.0-current.tar.gz contains a copy of 2.0.8 so clearly 2.0.8 is the current release. It's also quite unusual to have a browsable copy of the source on the ASF mirrors. This doubles the amount of space taken, and is not scalable. It would be better to provide a link to the SVN tag. Also the download page should have links to the KEYS file, and to the hashes and sigs for each downloadable item. Have a look at the httpd download pages for examples of how it can be presented. > >> Will try later unless someone else can. >> >> On Mon, Dec 30, 2013 at 5:17 PM, sebb <seb...@gmail.com> wrote: >>> PING >>> >>> On 16 December 2013 23:44, sebb <seb...@gmail.com> wrote: >>>> There does not seem to be an issue tracker for the project, so posting >>>> to the dev list. >>>> >>>> To reduce the load on the ASF mirrors, projects are required to delete >>>> old releases [1] >>>> >>>> Please can you remove all non-current releases? >>>> >>>> i.e. 2.0.7 >>>> >>>> Thanks! >>>> >>>> [Note that older releases are always available from the ASF archive server] >>>> >>>> [1] http://www.apache.org/dev/release.html#when-to-archive >>> >>> --------------------------------------------------------------------- >>> To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@perl.apache.org >>> For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@perl.apache.org >>> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@perl.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@perl.apache.org
