Using $(c|r)->pnotes will bind the current interpreter to that object for it's lifetime. $(c|r)->pnotes_kill() can be used to prematurely drop pnotes and remove this binding. The Makefile generated by Apache2::Build uses shell commands for the manifest file, but neglected to tell dmake to use the shell. [Steve Hay] Don't write an 'rpm' target into the Makefile on Windows. It isn't relevant on Windows, and the (hard-coded, not MakeMaker-generated) recipe group has syntax which dmake doesn't understand.
