James Taylor created PHOENIX-1319:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Cleanup how an HTable is gotten from coprocessor for
reads/writes
                 Key: PHOENIX-1319
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-1319
             Project: Phoenix
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 3.1, 4.1
            Reporter: James Taylor

We need to go through HTablePool for reads to work around HBASE-11837 in
pre-0.98.6. AFAIK, we do not need to do this for writes. It would be good to
understand this issue a bit, [~jeffreyz] - would this affect 0.94 too? How
broken was this before? In pre-0.98.6, does this mean that any query that's
executing on the region server (i.e. your partial index rebuild, for example),
would not return any local data? When did this bug surface - was it broken in
0.98.1 as well?
