James Taylor commented on PHOENIX-1542:
---------------------------------------

I agree that the section on upgrading from 2.x to 3.0 features too prominently,
but let's not remove it. The idea I had for this page was to create links to
other pages per major/minor release. These separate pages would contain
detailed information (along the lines of release notes), to let users know what
(if any) upgrade is being done for a given release. So, in other words, move
that section to a new page and add a link on the upgrading.md page for 2.0 ->
4.0.

> Remove language about upgrading from 2.2 from /upgrading.html

> Since Phoenix 2.x is not being developed it is time to remove the section
> about upgrading from 2.x to 3.0 from /upgrading.html. The section features
> prominently there and takes away from arguably more important information on
> the page related to actively supported versions.
