Hello All It looks like that currently there is no way to specify aliases for the column(s) in a CREATE VIEW DDL (including AS SELECT PART).
It would be very beneficiary to provid well named column names to BI tools and still stay with HBase best practices regarding minimal length of the CQ/CD names Is it something could possible be on radar in historically short future or there is some fundamental issue that would make it serious work? Other words does it make sense to file a JIRA and do we want to make sure select expression consistent across the board select, views, derived tables, sub queries etc.. Thank you S
