    This should pass through the same arguments as below:
        ResultIterator scanner = new TableResultIterator(mutationState, 
tableRef, scan, scanMetrics);
    
    The mutationState  was cloned here because the one in context may change. 
Otherwise, we end up not passing through the transaction. We have a test, but 
it's ignored and we're waiting for a Tephra fix to enable it. I'll modify this 
and confirm it fixes the issue (as I'm testing with a Tephra snapshot).
