Here's a patch (essentially what James did), but includes the modification to
the phoenix-server assembly.
Also, relies on Avatica 1.7.1 (which should come out this week). We should not
use Avatica 1.7.0. Thus, not marking this one as Patch Available until things
are in place upstream.
