hidden here. The Grammar page mentions commits kind of off-handedly, as does
the Atomic Upsert page.
Ignoring the transaction feature (as that is "standard"), when I first started
poking at Phoenix, I was rather confused at the "overloading" of the
{{commit()}} method to control shipping of edits to HBase. IMO, since you are
bringing how up batching works, I figured it would be a good idea to at least
nod to this point.

I think 15mins is a fine value -- my suggestion was just to use stronger
language in stating it.
