Modifiable views depend on the Calcite extend feature. I am working on adding
support for extended columns (modeled as dynamic columns) in modifiable views
in:

https://github.com/kliewkliew/phoenix/tree/ExtendedViewSupport
It seems mostly finished but for some integration on the Phoenix side and
adding test cases.
Will have more details later.
