James Taylor commented on PHOENIX-3839:
---------------------------------------
[~mujtabachohan] - is perhaps a new, different issue as you mention it fails
while building a global index? I'm wondering about a long running SELECT
COUNT(1) FROM T query with and without HBASE-18000.

> Large aggregate queries timeout in Phoenix, even with our renew lease code in
> place. The only workaround is to increase the RPC timeout to be really high
> which is not such a good idea. It's quite possible HBASE-18000 is the root
> cause. Would it be possible to test that theory on master (i.e. with HBase
> 1.3 plus the patch for HBASE-18000), [~samarthjain] & [~mujtabachohan]?
