I have never seen the HiveTezIT and HiveMapReduceIT complete successfully.
Locally, on my laptop too, I was unable to get these tests to run successfully.

On my laptop, these tests failed with an OOM. I had to override the permgen
memory to 256m to get the tests to even start.
