bq. According to the RSRpcServices sources, the flag allowPartialResults
doesn't matter during the scan. It checks whether Client can handle partial
result (it's automatically set in RequestConverter to true) and after that
RSRpcServices consider that partial results are allowed:
I didn't participate in the design of the partial results feature so missed
this. I would have remarked it would be better if like other scan flags
allowPartialResults was carried to the server and behavioral changes occurred
there as a result, but it's too late to make that change now. So the next step
here is to debug why the client isn't assembling the partial results as
required.
